Thanks!

I just wanted to thank everyone for coming last night, we had a pretty great showing I think and it shows how many care.  I was really surprised Mayor Holaday came!  I meant to write something today about next steps and what not, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to utilize this site to have an interactive dialog and haven't quite found the tools yet to do that.  I've reached out to Trunity for some guidance so hopefully I will hear from them soon.  Basically I want to recap some of what was discussed.... what do we do with the tennis court.... what do we do about setting up a separate area for dogs.... and someone else brought up the idea if we're looking at ideas for everything, perhaps we may want to consider doing something else with the basketball court.... all of these will require open dialog and while there are other tools to do this, I'd like to find a way to keep everything here centrally if possible.

I don't think the city has all the funds (parks and recreations) are we going to do some fund-raising? what about contacting the local banks as someone has suggested? Also don't forget the city ordinance meeting tonight, hope to see all of you there, if you cant make it and you have questions you would like asked just post them and someone in attendance can sign up to ask them..have a good day everyone!!

Hi Jayne, I will be at the meeting. I'll send out an email to everyone to remind them. I'm not sure what the agenda is tonight.

As I mentioned to you yesterday, I will have something up soon so we can start a dialog about coming to agreement on what we would like to see happen with the park. Can't really start fundraising until we have a plan. Lise is also getting me some information on fundraising requirements, procedures, etc.
