The idea behind this site is to share information with anyone in the Newburyport community who would like to be involved in helping improve Atwood Park.  Currently the park has problems with dog waste and also just general maintenance.  Many of us in the South End have either small yards or none at all and count on having the park as a clean and safe place for our kids to play.

I will keep this site updated with the latest news regarding the park whether it's local news or an announcement about the next kids' movie in the park.  If you're web saavy and would like to volunteer to assist me in doing this, any help would certainly be appreciated.
